The next time I tell myself that I can't do something, I'm going to watch this video for inspiration.

15-year-old Jacob Smith was recently featured on an episode of 60 minutes, and his story is really incredible. Smith is legally blind. When he was 8-years-old, he was diagnosed with meningioma when doctors discovered a brain tumor the size of a baseball. He recently reminisced about the time that he skied the Big Couloir at Big Sky Resort when he was only 12-years-old. The Big Coulior is a 1,400 vertical foot chute at Big Sky Resort. If you want to ski this run, you'll need a partner, an avalanche beacon, a shovel, and a probe.

Jacob Smith is the youngest and only legally blind skier to ever ski the Big Coulior at Big Sky. Now, at 15-years-old, he's become an inspiration to a lot of people in the world of skiing and regularly competes in junior freeride tournaments.

In addition to being legally blind, Smith also has extreme tunnel vision and no depth perception. 60 Minutes spoke with Smith's doctors and worked with a graphic artist to show what Smith sees when he is skiing.

In the 60 Minutes interview, Smith says that he doesn't let being blind hold him back and that he wants to be treated like a normal person.
