A Wee Bit of Irish

A Springtime of Irish Music and Song Concert series is just half over. This past Sunday night Eoin O Riaghaigh performed to a full house at the Music recital Hall on the U-M campus. It was quite an evening; a very talented man sharing the tradition of the travelling minstrel. They play a major role in Irish Culture, past and present.  If you’re just a “wee bit Irish” there are two more shows coming up; 4/9, Sean-nos (old style) music and song and then on 4/24 Irish Ballad Singer Sean Tyrell. Tickets are very reasonable and available at the Adams Event Center Box Office. The Friends of Irish Studies sponsors the event.
