Western Montana Fair

Hey kids, don't forget to join me Tuesday night from 6:00-8:00 at the Western Montana Fair.

For the second year in a row, the Missoula Historic Preservation Commission will continue its oral histories project at the Western Montana Fair.

Entry deadlines in several categories are rapidly approaching for the Western Montana Fair in Missoula that will run from Tuesday, August 6 through Sunday, August 11.

Once again, I will be recreating the role of Denny Bedard, Bingo Mahatma at the Western Montana Fair.

UPDATE - Thursday, May 23, 2013 At the close of Wednesday's County Commissioner's meeting, the three members voted unanimously to end horse racing at the county fairgrounds.

It's looking like a warm and dry weekend for Western Montana Fair fans with lots of events on tap. Here we go!

While most fair-goers show up for the food, games and rides, the fair is so much more than ring tosses and corn dogs.

Good day to be a kid! Of course just about every day is a good day to be a kid, but especially at The Western Montana Fair.

One of the hottest days in recent history for the fair. I'm sure lots of people will be cooling in the Beer Garden to some great music.

Welcome everyone to The Western Montana Fair. The gates opened at 11:00 this morning as they will every day. Open until 10:30 nightly.

The 2012 Western Montana Fair is right around the corner!  One of the first things I think of, when I think "Fair," is the wild array of food that will be available.

The 2012 Western Montana Fair is August 7th through the 12th and this year’s theme is ‘Ropin’, Ridin’ and Rememberin’, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Montana 4-H. Fair manager Steve Earle says this year’s fair will feature the Dock Dogs competition, where fair-goers can bring their dogs to compete in various contests.
