Spring Ice Fishing In Minnesota

My niece's husband Scott sent me this picture.  He is an avid fisherman and was out early in the season in Minnesota.  And no, the guy in the picture is not walking on water.  And yes, he is fishing from a block of ice in the river.

Scott said the un-named fisherman had been, according to his fishing buddies, drinking all night and was stinking up the boat.  They told him to get out.  He did.  On to a floating chunk of ice. 

And yes, that is a beer in his hand.  And no, I don't know if he caught anything.
