A shooting incident that occurred early Saturday morning in Missoula has led to one arrest.

Missoula Police Sergeant Mike Hebert said the call came in to 9-1-1 early in the morning on Saturday.

“This morning at about 4:00 a.m. Missoula Police officers responded to St. Patrick Hospital for the report of an adult female with a possible gunshot wound that was non life-threatening,” said Sergeant Hebert. “They since determined that between 3:30 and 4:00 a.m. on the 300 block of East Front is where she sustained the wound.”

Hebert said one person has been arrested for the incident.

“We do have a male in custody and there is no danger to the public,” he said.

Hebert said the suspect was questioned by detectives and placed in custody, although neither his identity nor the charges have been made public.
