On May 1st, 2022, a female knowingly entered a Missoula residence in the 900 block of Mitchell Street and remained without permission. The complainant did not know the female and said she was wearing a cheetah print sweatshirt, was barefoot, and had light colored hair with pink and purple in it.

When the female entered the residence, she attempted to take a new pair of shoes, belonging to the complainant, still in the original packaging. When the homeowners asked the female to leave, she became agitated. Police Public Information Officer Lydia Arnold explains.

“A person called 911 requesting officers because a female, who they did not know, had entered into their residence,” Arnold said. “The female was identified has Hanna Rodli. Rodli attempted to physically kick someone and steal items from the residence she had entered. The caller believed Rodli was under the influence of drugs.”

At one point, Rodli attempted to kick and punch someone in the home. In removing Rodli from the residence, Rodli bit that person on the abdomen causing visible injury.

“Rodli left prior to officer’s arrival, but was located a short time later,” Arnold said. “She was taken into custody without incident. Officers were able to collect statements and take pictures of physical injuries. At this time, the condition of the victim is unknown. This case is still under investigation with the Missoula Police Department.”

Officers found Rodli by the North Side Pedestrian Footbridge. According to court documents, officers also described Rodli as appearing to be under the influence of an unknown substance. When questioned by officers, Rodli could not give an account of what she was doing in the area and noted that she wanted to sleep.

Rodli was arrested and transported to the Missoula County Detention Center. She is currently being charged with one count of felony aggravated burglary.
