The weekend winter storm created havoc throughout Montana - from downed trees along Flathead Lake to about two feet of snow in Browning and strong winds everywhere. In Hamilton, snow weighed down trees in the valley and clogged roads in the higher elevations. After overnight freezing temperatures, warmer conditions are expected later in the week. Many trees haven't turned color yet. (see photo above) The playground equipment will be drying out soon for recess. (see photo below)
