What Did Missoula Think of Last Night’s ‘Game of Thrones’ Finale?
And now our watch (of Game of Thrones) has ended.
Well, that's it. Game of Thrones is officially over. Eight years, 73 episodes, countless deaths, and one Iron Throne later, we've reached the end. I've been watching this show since the beginning, and I thought the finale was mostly pretty good - sort of a mixed bag, which has been the case for a lot of this season, but it was probably the best possible version of the ending that we could get considering some of the questionable storytelling leading into it.
But that's just my view! If you look online, opinions range from "This was great!" to "This is the worst thing ever made and possibly a war crime!" So, you know, there's a lot of nuance there.
Game of Thrones is a legit pop culture phenomenon on a scale that we don't get too often anymore, so I want to put it out there: what did you think of the finale? Underwhelmed by how cleanly it all wrapped up? Satisfied with where it took your favorite characters? A little annoyed by how rushed this season as a whole felt?
Let us know what you thought, and give us your opinion on who SHOULD have gotten to rule Westeros instead of [CHARACTER WHOSE NAME I CAN'T SAY BECAUSE IT'S A SPOILER]. I'm still #TeamHotPie all the way, curious to hear your thoughts.
