We Used To Just Have To Worry About Falcons. Now Cranes Too.
We like osprey around here, right? See 'em around the river, the name of our minor league baseball team and all that. I guess they are holding up a construction job in Washington DC.... They have built a nest on a construction crane so the bridge job won't resume for about 75 days so the eggs can hatch and the little rascals learn to fly. The bridge is part of a 10 billion dollar effort to revitalize a river front area. Environmentalists were also going to demand an impact study on the effects on bull trout under the bridge. But the osprey ate them.
The trout, I mean.
