WATCH: Epic Drone Show At Tyler Childers Concert In Missoula
If you were in Missoula last Saturday you may have seen a large group of illuminated drones rise to the sky in the shape of a chicken, a horse, a planet, a hot dog, an atom-looking-thing, leaves, snowflakes and a bunch of other cool-looking shapes. No, it wasn't an alien invasion. No, it wasn't 5G signals attempting to control your brainwaves. It was allegedly the first-ever drone show at a country music concert.
Tyler Childers rocked Washington-Grizzly Stadium with an incredible musical performance and a stellar drone show. Childers mentioned during his performance it was the first-ever drone show at a country music concert. I want to be clear with everyone: I have no clue if there is any validity to the claim. It seems like a country music concert had to have had a drone show before Saturday night, but who am I to question the great Tyler Childers?
Here's a different angle of the Childers drone show. This shot was taken from Waterworks Hill (or somewhere close to it) by an individual outside of the show. It's an amazing vantage point, but the music you'll hear in the video is Lights by Ellie Goulding and Blinding Lights by The Weeknd. Just in case you watch and go "Wait a minute, Tyler Childers sang those songs?"
Here's to Tyler Childers and Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats for putting on a BANGING show Saturday night. It was amazing, and I would be remiss if I forgot to say 'thank you' to all the University staff who helped coordinate the show.
