Disclaimer: This is not a political article. I am not taking either side. It is 250 words about Tim Walz's connection to Montana. Nobody verbally assault me, please.

Yesterday, the news cycle was consumed by the major story everybody was talking about. International icon Mr. Worldwide purchased the naming rights of Florida International University's football stadium. The new home of the Panthers will be called "Pitbull Stadium."

Ok, that wasn't the biggest news of the day. Current Vice President and Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris selected Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate for this year's presidential election against Republicans Donald Trump and JD Vance. Walz was born and grew up in Nebraska before moving to Mankato, Minnesota for school. He's lived in The Land of 10,000 Lakes since the early 2000s. He is a Midwest boy through and through, but he, or more accurately his daughter, has ties to Montana.

Beloved Montana Restaurants No Longer Around

Maybe it was the place you went to each year for your birthday. Montana has lost some legendary local businesses and we take a look at some of the very best.
