So if you spent a billion dollars for a tunnel, you'd think the price would at least include, well....a tunnel.Doesn't seem like an unfair expectation, right? According to seattlePI.com   even if the city of Seattle decides to abandon their Alaskan Way Viaduct, the money already devoted to the project would be lost. With that, we present "Tunnel Puns."

The reason the tunnel project is being dropped is that most motorists wouldn't use it because it would be such a....BORE.

A billion dollar tunnel with no tunnel? Seattle, you've been....CHISELED.

There are also too many restrictions on what drivers can use the tunnel. It forbids use by unaccompanied....MINERS.
