Under The Big Sky’s Lineup Is Stacked With Montana Artists
Coming up this July 12-14, Under The Big Sky Music Festival returns to Whitefish, Montana. It is a stellar lineup of musical acts.
Miranda Lambert, Billy Strings, Turnpike Troubadours, Brothers Osborne, Mt. Joy, The Revivalists, Tanya Tucker, Paul Cauthen, The Lil' Smokies and plenty of local artists.
We'll be spoiled with all these national artists, but we love UTBS because of the local artists featured like Montana's own Hannah King. Hannah will be coming back to UTBS this July after she made her first appearance in 2021. She was nice enough to call in and discuss UTBS.
Hannah thought she was being punked the first time someone reached out to see if she would play at UTBS in '21.
"I got an email in maybe January or February asking if I'd be interested in playing and I thought somebody was pranking me. Like I genuinely thought somebody was just pulling my leg," said King.
It was no joke. King got to perform at the festival on July 16, 2021, along with several huge acts such as Billy Strings, Dwight Yoakam and Colter Wall. She's already shared the stage with plenty of famous names, but I asked her which artist would be at the top of her list to perform live in concert with.
"Oh man... I really love the wilder blues, so maybe Zane Williams. I like Lainey Wilson, she's great. Either one of those would be so fun."

You can't go wrong with either of those. Maybe when Lainey Wilson is in Missoula later this year we can petition for Hannah to get on stage and perform a song with her.
For now, we can't wait to see Hannah perform live at UTBS this July. If you
