The University of Montana Office for Civic Engagement and Volunteers in Action will host their Spring Volunteer Fair. Students and community members can learn about numerous volunteer opportunities available in the Missoula area from nearly 30 community agencies that will be at the fair. The fair helps helps nonprofit agencies promote their activities and recruit new members in order to meet community-identified needs. So, if you have a little free time on your hands and a passion for lending your talents to those who could use you, don't miss the Spring Volunteer Fair. And students, things like this never look bad on a resume, right? The fair is Tuesday and Wednesday, February 11-12, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. both days in the University Center Atrium. If you need to know more you can contact Colleen Kane, program manager, UM Office for Civic Engagement, 406-243-5531. DB
