U of Montana Lady Griz Basketball K-5 Youth Camp Coming Soon

Well, your kids have been out of school for about a month, and there is only so much more they can learn dribbling a ball in the driveway.

If they are starting to get starved for some exciting basketball-related activities, why not look into the University of Montana Lady Griz Basketball Youth Camp? Kids can rub elbows with some of Missoula's most popular college athletes. The dates are Monday, July 31 through Wednesday, August 2, at the Adams Center on the UM campus. The camp session runs from 9:00 a.m. till noon each day.

Lady Griz Youth Camp is open to all who will be entering grades K-5 this fall. The camp will focus on skill development in a fun environment. Campers will learn to apply the skills they learn in games. Campers will expand their skill set and knowledge of the game through techniques and fundamental training.

Games will also be a part of camp. The games will strive to introduce team concepts and develop individual skills. Camp coaches can include current and former Lady Griz as well as high school coaches.

Check in for all campers will begin at 8:15 a.m July 31. Camp check in will take place outside, directly below the Eric and Blair Sprunk Academic Center, located near the ticket office at the Adams Center. The cost per camper is $140, which includes a Lady Griz t-shirt and a basketball.
