A Favorite Missoula Farm Has Mother’s Day Fun (and Baby Goats)
Oh, man! Write it down, add a reminder in your phone, circle it on the calendar, or do whatever it is that helps you remember important dates! Mother's Day is coming up fast and it's one of those days that you don't want to forget about. A card, some flowers, take mom to lunch, or just a simple phone call - just make sure it doesn't slip your mind. If you're lucky enough to be able to actually spend the day with your mom, Turner Farms in Missoula is holding a pretty fun event for Mother's Day weekend that mom might love.
More than just a pumpkin patch
If you think of Turner Farms as "the pumpkin place" and figure they're only open in the fall, that would be incorrect as they actually have stuff going on all throughout the year. You can stop by the self-serve farm stand that's open year-round, they have summer camps for kids, and last fall they introduced a pretty cool venue that you can rent to hold an event.
Join Turner Farms on the Saturday of Mother's Day weekend
I feel like there should be more businesses and events that offer up the chance to hang out with baby goats. How much more fun would it be to read a book at Barnes & Noble if you could do it with a baby goat? Need some work done at the dentist? Wouldn't it be way more enjoyable if you could hang with baby goats? You can probably tell where I'm going with this, as part of the Mother's Day Farm Event at Turner Farms you can visit the baby goats.
Grab a Mother's Day gift
Of course, baby goats are just part of the fun. The Facebook event page says Turner Farms will have 20 vendors with a wide variety of crafts, plants, food, jewelry, and food trucks. Use it as an opportunity to grab a last-minute gift for mom or bring her along for a day of fun!
The Mother's Day Farm Event happens Saturday, May 7th from 1:30-4:30 PM at Turner Farms - 3515 S. 3rd St W.
