Missoula is a beer-drinking city. We love a good hefeweizen, stout, porter, lager, pale ale or an IPA... ok, only some people enjoy an IPA. Others think you're drinking a vine soaked in Clorox.

The bottom line is that we like beer, so I spent my "work" day "researching" Missoula's favorite beers. I want to thank my boss for paying me to search for beers all day. This was one of the better days at work I've had.

My research came from Untappd - a haven for beer drinkers to rate beers, discover new breweries and create beer wish lists. It's a great app that I frequently use when trying new beers. Untappd has a massive catalog of beers and breweries, so I looked up the top-rated brew at each Missoula brewery. I dwindled the list down to 11 breweries. I also required beers to have at least 100 ratings to find out the true GOAT at each location.
