TMZ Story Says Montana Man Found Bullet Inside Bag of Cheetos

It seems like the last two weeks have been pretty busy with people claiming to find foreign objects in their food. For a good three days you couldn't maneuver around social media without seeing the story of a man that claimed he found shrimp tails in his Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Last we heard the possible shrimp pieces were being sent to a fancy lab for testing to give the world a definite shrimp or no shrimp answer. I saw a story on Monday about a lady claiming there was a bat in the bag of carrots she bought at Costco. But her video showed the bat moving inside the bag - and something just  seems a bit fishy to me with that story.

The latest story of something crazy being found where it should never be comes to us from right here in Montana. This was a story that made headlines on TMZ yesterday. A man claims his 6-year-old found a bullet at the bottom of a Flamin' Hot Cheetos bag over the weekend.

Bow Horn Weasel of Elmo, MT claims he bought the chips at a convenience store and his son found the bullet covered in Cheetos dust at the bottom of the bag. The TMZ story showed pictures of a conversation the man provided where he exchanges messages with a Frito-Lay representative. And we'll give the Frito-Lay people credit because it seems like their first reaction, unlike the Cinnamon Toast Crunch reps, is to take the issue seriously and get to the bottom of things.

If your first though is that Mr. Horn Weasel is trying to be a.....well.....weasel.....he says he's not seeking any sort of payment and just wants to make sure Frito-Lay can get to the bottom of the issue and ensure it doesn't happen again.

It'll be interesting to see what comes of this story as well as the ones I mentioned above. I mean, I don't think any of us will actually be able to rest until we know the truth about those shrimp tails. Until then, we'll wait and see what the next crazy claim will be for something that's found in food where it doesn't belong.
