A lot of us humans probably wish we were aging this gracefully.

It was another Take Me Home Tuesday here at the radio stations, presented by our animal loving friends at Paul's Pancake Parlor. Janet from the Humane Society brought in Nala, an 11-year-old senior cat who would love to spend her golden years in a nice quiet, loving home.

Nala is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. And if by chance you are a senior citizen, the Humane Society's Seniors for Seniors program, matching older adults with older dogs and cats, would be perfect for you. There are no adoption fees when seniors adopt seniors!

POODLE-LISHUS OPPORTUNITY!

No shelter typically has standard poodle puppies for adoption. The Humane Society of Western Montana is working with owners who had an accidental breeding. Because the family is unfortunately in an urgent situation due to health reasons, they have made available 6 poodle puppies, one apricot, one tuxedo and four black pups. They are about 4 months old, and expected to be on the larger side as adults.

The poodles are NOT at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting a standard poodle puppy, be sure to contact the shelter as soon as possible, at 406-549-3934.

FREE VACCINE TUESDAYS

Now, every Tuesday, the shelter offers a free vaccine clinic. Hours are 4:00 till 6:00 pm. The shelter is not open for regular visits on Tuesdays, you do have to sign up in advance. You can found out more about registering, as well see many of the dogs and cats waiting for their forever homes, and get tickets for the big Pack the House fundraising event by visiting the shelter's website.
