Tips Being Sought for Western Montana Bull Elk Left to Waste
Our friends at Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks are asking for our help with a wasted elk incident.
This is believed to have happened on or about Tuesday. Warden Jason Singleterry is seeking information regarding a bull elk that was discovered off the side of Three Mile Creek Road, near the entrance to the Three Mile Wildlife Management Area, east of Florence.
The elk had been dumped at the location, the antlers had been removed and about half the meat was still attached and left to waste. Warden Singleterry says some evidence was left at the scene, and they are actively seeking help from anyone who might have information about the incident.
If you can be of any help, you are asked to contact 1-800-TIP-MONT (800-847-6668). Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to a conviction.
C'mon, Montana hunters! You're better than this.
