Following a busy long weekend in Europe at the 2018 Country to Country Festival on March 9-11, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill headed for a tropical vacation. McGraw has shared on social media a couple pictures from their getaway, using the caption of one to poke fun at himself.

During his and Hill's final performance of C2C 2018, in Dublin, Ireland, on March 11, McGraw collapsed onstage. Concertgoers reported that he had just finished performing his song "Humble and Kind" when he dropped to his knees, then sat down onstage and needed assistance getting up and offstage. Following a lengthy break, Hill came to the front of the stage, flanked by her and McGraw's band members, and explained that McGraw would not be coming back out -- a decision made by Hill -- and ended the show.

McGraw's onstage collapse was attributed to dehydration and an intense overseas travel schedule. So, on Monday (March 19), the country star posted a photo of himself spearfishing underwater with the caption "Hydrating!" garnering laughs from followers.

McGraw has shown his sense of humor more than once following the incident in Dublin. When he and Hill arrived back in the United States, the country star joked with paparazzi about the incident at the airport: The singer, who is known for his intense workout regimen, told someone with a camera, "I gotta cut short my workouts!"

McGraw and Hill spent much of 2017 out on the road on their co-headlining Soul2Soul Tour, in support of their duets album, The Rest of Our Life, released late last year. In May, they will begin a 2018 leg of the trek, currently scheduled to run through late July.
