This Week Is Your Last Chance To Visit The Giggle Box In Missoula
About a month ago, we gave you the news that The Giggle Box - Missoula's first interactive art museum, located in the Southgate Mall - would be closing down. The museum was always planned to be a limited-time thing and was originally only supposed to be at the mall for a few months, but proved so successful that they kept extending their stay. Alas, that stay is finally ready to come to an end.
September 25th is officially the final day the Giggle Box will be open at the Southgate Mall, and they've decided to go out in style. On Saturday night, they're getting ready to hold a closing party and silent auction at the museum, where many pieces from throughout the museum will be open for the highest bidder.
The best part is, this event is free to attend, and they're even offering free tours of the museum so you can check it out one last time. They'll also have a full bar available, and that's never a bad thing - it does mean that this is a 21 and over event, so unfortunately, you won't be able to take the kids to this one. You can find out all the info you need on their Facebook event page.
I'm definitely going to miss the Giggle Box, but the team behind it is ready to move on into more projects throughout Montana and beyond - so hopefully, we'll be seeing something new from them in Missoula pretty soon.
In the meantime, what do you think is going to take the space that the Giggle Box once occupied in the Southgate Mall?
