The bar/restaurant closure has been difficult for so many businesses in town, and while many places have been doing take-out and delivery to try to compensate, others have decided to close up shop entirely. The Top Hat had been doing take-out for the last few weeks, but today they announced that they were temporarily closing all food service.

Here's the message from the owners of The Top Hat:

“It is with great sadness that we have decided to temporarily close all food service from the Top Hat.  We as a team have decided that the close quarters of a commercial kitchen is too great of a risk for staff and customers. As a result, we are temporarily suspending take-out services along with our currently closed dine-in service.

We hope to have greater clarification in the coming weeks and will reopen as soon as is feasible and safe.  We are grateful to Missoula over the past few weeks for their continued support and apologize to our loyal customers for the temporary interruption in service. Please stay safe Missoula. Thank you.”

This is a bummer, but it's understandable. Logjam has set up a Supplemental Income Fund for its employees which you can donate to to help them out in this time while they're out of work.
