March is Women's History Month, and The Roxy Theater is celebrating by putting a spotlight on women in film, both in front of and behind the camera. If you've ever complained about the lack of female characters or filmmakers in Hollywood, then The Roxy is the place to be this month.

And the list of movies jumps around wildly with something for everybody, from arthouse classics like Cleo from 5 to 7 and The Passion of Joan of Arc, to recent critically-acclaimed films like Leave No Trace and crowd-pleasing comedies like Bridesmaids. It all culminates with a special 35mm presentation of A League of Their Own, directed by the late Penny Marshall, a trailblazing director for women in film.
