It was announced on Friday that SAFE Montana and Wrong for Montana have voluntarily dropped their lawsuit that was filed after Initiative 190 was passed by a wide margin by Montana voters.
New Approach Montana, the group behind I-190 and CI-118 which would legalize the sale of recreational marijuana to adults 21 and older, responded on Friday to a lawsuit proposed by ‘Wrong for Montana’.
A group opposed to the legalization of recreational marijuana plans to ask the Montana Supreme Court to remove I-190 from the ballot because it violates the Montana Constitution.
