An official announcement has been made that will surprise absolutely no one who follows Montana Lady Griz basketball.

Carson Callison is a 12-year-old from Alberton, Montana. And obviously a big Montana Grizzly fan.

The University of Montana announced Monday that senior guard Will Cherry earned another national college basketball honor.

Like you need more basketball excitement…There’s three state title teams right  here in Western Montana;  the Sentinel girls, the Hellgate boys and the Stevensville boys. Now lets take it up another notch, it’s tourney time right here in Missoula...

What an unfortunate way for the career of such a talented player and terrific young man to end.
