A region in Montana has been experiencing an unusual amount of earthquakes recently.

Studies in states like Ohio are leading seismology experts to look at human induced earthquakes, due to hydraulic fracturing, or fracking.

On Wednesday, October 23 at 10:23 a.m. over 50,000 Montanans will join millions around the world as they drop, cover, and hold on as part of the 2013 Rocky Mountain Shake-Out.
