Superhero 5K Run Returns to Missoula in April
One of the most fun 5Ks is back for another year in Missoula - the Superhero 5K Fun Run & Kids Dash!
CASA of Missoula hosts this event, which will be held at Fort Missoula Regional Park on April 18th at 10 AM. This is a great, easy 5K designed for kids - and they are, of course, encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero. (And I would take this advice - dress as The Flash! He's the fastest!)
Here's the info from their Facebook event page:
Run, walk, or FLY at the Superhero 5k Fun Run & Kids Dash!
Meet real life superheroes like Missoula Police, EMS, Fire and more!
Every child needs a hero but abused and neglected children need a SUPER hero.
Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers exist to be an abused or neglected child's SUPER hero. CASA volunteers are members of the community who are trained and supported to advocate in the best interests of children until they reside in a safe, permanent home.
The course is a 5K Run/Walk and Kids Dash. It is all flat, no hills or dips and is not timed. The entire course is throughout the perimeter of Fort Missoula Regional Park. The course is a loop and starts and finishes at the same spot at Bella Vista Pavillion (near the soccer fields). There will be water stations on the course and at the start/finish line. The course will be marked. The 5K race and fun run are both un-timed.
