State Tournament Needs Missoula Volunteers

For the first time in over a decade, the University of Montana will host a Montana state high school basketball tourney! Missoula is ready to welcome the Girls State Class C Tournament to the Adams Center Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 5-7. The university is still looking for a few volunteers to help make the event a huge success. Some ticket takers and ushers could sure be used on Thursday from 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Friday from 11:30-3:30 and 5:30-9:30 or Saturday 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 5:30-9:30.

Be part of the wonderful atmosphere that is Class C high school basketball in Montana. Some teams and their fans will be traveling hundreds and hundreds of miles to attend. It is such an integral part of the lifestyle of these small communities. I am honored and looking forward to being a part of it.
