Start the Colors Of Cancer Fundraising with Food Trucks
The Emergency Room parking lot at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital will have a large contingent of food trucks Tuesday for a "Colors of Cancer" luncheon event to kick off a month of fundraising to fight all types of cancer. The Bitterroot Valley campaign has grown from the "Sprinkle Pink" mammography efforts to a number of colorful teams raising money for the cancer fight at Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital. The money raised will be matched by the Hamilton hospital.
The food trucks will line the edges of the parking lot October 1st and will support those fighting skin cancer, breast cancer and more. You can order food from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and also pick up information about the different teams. Food trucks participating include Mineshaft, O'Leary's Kitchen, Red Rooster and Snow-To-Go, Taste of the Old World, Big Sky Grub Truck, Goody Goo Goo Gumdrops, and Wings and Things. And, You can find out about the October 12th 5K Fun Run, which will have the start-finish line at the Canyons Athletic Club east of Hamilton.
