I'm a massive Star Wars fan. It was a huge part of my childhood. The movies were rewatched over and over in my house, action figures littered my bedroom and I played just about every Star Wars video game I could find.

Not that anybody asked but here are my official rankings of all 9 Star Wars movies (Note: I love Rogue One, but let's keep it the nine main storyline movies).

1. Empire Strikes Back (The perfect sequel)
2. A New Hope (The original that started it with a bang)
3. Revenge of the Sith (The prequels get a bad rap but ROTS is amazing)
4. Return of the Jedi (Ewoks... enough said)
5. The Phantom Menace (Ok, this movie is not great objectively but I love this movie with all my heart)
6. The Last Jedi (A risky, flawed movie)
7. Force Awakens (Just a remake of the original)
8. Attack of the Clones (It's a pretty cringey movie with a lot of awkward dialogue)
9. Rise of Skywalker (Terrible trash. Awful. Gross.)

On May 4th (May the Fourth Be With You), it's your chance to dress up as your favorite Star Wars character and attend a Star Wars Gala. The PEAK Foundation is hosting the Star Wars Gala to raise money for youth programs, Alberton School and the Hank Roat Memorial Park in Alberton.

What is the PEAK Foundation?

"The PEAK Foundation board is a group of dedicated and passionate volunteers who are committed to making a positive impact in their local community. This group of individuals works tirelessly to support and promote the growth of the community, focusing on initiatives that will benefit all members of society." That comes from the About section on the PEAK's website. The group is based in Alberton.

What: PEAK Foundation's Galactic Gala

When: Saturday, May 4th, 2024 (6 pm - 10 pm)

Where: White Raven Wedding & Event Center (218 Lost Tantern Trl, Alberton, MT 59820)

How much: Tickets are $60 per person and $100 per couple

Other info: PEAK wants to see your best cosplay on a night of fundraising. Your ticket includes two drink tickets, tasty food and an auction.
