Well, okay. Maybe it's not an event worthy of a community name change. But it sounds like they're going to do their best to make it fun!

We thank our friends to the west in Mineral County for letting us know that the little town of St. Regis, Montana, knows how to St. Patty party, too! The annual St. Patrick's Day dinner and dance is for kids of all ages. Gather everybody up for the dinner and dance, starting at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, at the St. Regis Community Center. Get there a little early if you can.

Corned beef and cabbage will be provided free. You are asked to bring a side dish if you can, to share with others. Not only are they providing the corned beef and cabbage, they're providing the music. The Eagle's Nest Band will get you up and dancing! Irish jigs optional.

This is an event for the entire family. Here's to ya, St. Regis! Way to provide a pot o' gold fun for the townsfolk. If you need to know more you can contact Town Council Board Member Barbara Gillott, 4mrsg@gmail.com.
