I admit it. I am among them. I am never without a jigsaw puzzle in progress.

I am a one-thousand-piece puzzler. And while it may take me days, weeks or even months, as soon as I get one all locked down I move on to the next one. Needless to say, speed is not my strong suit. But I sure had a blast with the "Ribbit Rainbow," pictured above.

But teaming up with a couple of fellow puzzle nerds, who knows? Though I do know I'd probably be the slow teammate.

SPEED PUZZLING COMPETITION RETURNS TO MISSOULA

It’s Back! Speed Puzzling at Draught Works Brewery, 915 Toole Avenue. After a brief summer break, their legendary Speed Puzzling Competition is returning Sunday, September 21, the last full day of summer. And they promise it's going to be more fun than ever.

Grab your puzzle crew, order your favorite pint (optional), and get ready for an afternoon of high-speed puzzling and epic bragging rights!

RULES, ENTRY FEES AND MORE

Speed puzzling competition gets underway at noon. The cost is $25 per team, which can be up to 5 members. Share the entry fee among a few friends and you've got a pretty cheap afternoon of fun.

LEAVE YOUR PUZZLES AT HOME

No puzzle shenanigans here. Each team gets the same 500-piece puzzle. When the clock starts, it’s game on. The first team to finish wins. Simple as that.The top 3 teams score Draught Works gift cards, AND everyone goes home with their puzzle as a keepsake.
