Signs That You May Have Heat Exhaustion
It has gotten so hot! I know for myself that I love being outdoors but can be out there too long and not realize it. Heat exhaustion is a serious condition that can come out of nowhere.
There are two different types of heat exhaustion, lack of water or lack of salt. Heat exhaustion is not as serious as heat stroke. Although not as serious it can lead to heat stroke, it can cause damage to the brain and the organs.
According to webmd.com these are the signs of heat exhaustion so be cautious and read this to make sure you know the signs:
Confusion
Dark-colored urine (a sign of dehydration)
Dizziness
Fainting
Fatigue
Headache
Muscle or abdominal cramps
Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
Pale skin
Profuse sweating
Rapid heartbeat
If you or someone you know is having heat exhaustion then get them out of the heat immediately. Shade will do if there is no inside place with AC.
