Maren Morris will not be returning to Missoula anytime soon. All tickets purchased for her show at Big Sky Brewing Company Amphitheater will be refunded electronically.

RELATED: Maren Morris in Missoula Postponed After Lightning Storm

TicketWeb, which Big Sky Brewing used as the main ticket purchase portal for the August 20th concert, sent an email to all ticket purchasers on Monday the 22nd with the following message:

We are all disappointed that we were unable to continue the show Saturday night in Missoula. The safety of our patrons, the touring bands, and our crew is always the first priority. We worked with the National Weather Service Missoula and with lightning strikes within an unsafe distance, we had to make the decision to clear the venue. We held onto the hope that we could restart the concert, but ran out of necessary time to get the show completed.

All efforts were made to reschedule the date with Maren, but unfortunately it's not possible. Tickets purchased online have been automatically refunded. All other refunds are available at your point of purchase.

We were hanging onto hope as well. Maren's next stop on the West Coast leg of her "Humble Quest" tour is Tuesday night in Walla Walla, WA, and even if the concert couldn't happen in time for her to keep other tour dates in tact, there was also hope that she could reschedule the date for next year.

If you bought tickets through TicketWeb, your purchase will be refunded automatically. Please allow five (5) business days for the transaction to clear.

Other Refunds

Unfortunately, parking fees and other travel expenses like gas and hotel rooms are not the responsibility of the promoter, the artist or the venue. However, Big Sky Brewing will honor beverage tokens purchased at the show:

Please bring your Maren Morris ticket stub and your unused tokens to Big Sky Brewing Company Taproom anytime between now and August 29th for a refund.

The taproom at Big Sky Brewing is open Monday through Saturday, 11am - 8pm, and on Sundays from noon - 6pm.

If you bought tickets from another portal besides TicketWeb, please contact them for a refund.

Author's Note

As I said when we broke the story of the concert's postponement the night of the show, it's disappointing that there was no consummation of the love Maren has for her fans, nor of the love her fans have for her this time around. However, there is a broader issue to think about: the love that Maren and Big Sky Brewing have for everyone's safety.

There's no reason to bear resentment against Maren, the amphitheater, or the tour. If you want to blame anything, blame Mother Nature. She's the only entity that didn't care about you at the show that night.
