One Man is in the Hospital After an Officer-Involved Shooting in Missoula

According to Missoula police, one man is injured after an officer-involved shooting in Missoula's westside neighborhood on Wednesday morning. At around 11:00, Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh says officers were called to Missoula's Hollywood Trailer Park for reports of man with a weapon.

When officers arrived, they were immediately met by a man who was very confrontational. Welsh says there was a dialogue between the man and police and then shots were fired. The man was taken by ambulance to a local hospital and no officers were injured.
