No USAF Thunderbirds Show in Kalispell

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds have been grounded. Or maybe sequestered is better use of words for the birds. The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce is postponing indefinitely the Mountain Madness Air Show that was scheduled for July. The main attraction, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds have  been grounded by federal budget cuts. The Air Force postponed all shows after April 1 because of the automatic budget cuts that took effect when Congress and the White House could not reach a federal budget agreement by March 1. I guess that's one of those trickle-down effects we will undoubtedly be seeing more of in the near future.    DB
