Netting Brown Trout for My Buddy

If you are OK with driving then you can find some water to fish!

I may not have been able to land any fish to the net, had plenty of chances, but did get to net this Brown Trout for my friend! He got this guy on a streamer. Which is what I should have been fishing but instead I went with an egg pattern and San Juan.

I am not sure why I keep losing these monster fish. Too small of tippet, small flies.... just not sure. What I do know though is I am going to catch some of these fish if it's the last thing I do.

My friend traveled back to the spot and caught some great fish.
