Yes, Ottmar Liebert is still intending to be on stage at the Performing Arts Center in Hamilton in this season's concert series. His was the first concert taken down when the COVID-19 pandemic locked us down. Ottmar and Luna Negra will come January 29, 2022, and all tickets sold to his postponed March 2020 show will be honored.

In fact, the Bitterroot Performing Arts season has been announced and it looks incredible again. Here's a glance at who will be featured at the acclaimed 700-seat Performing Arts Center in Hamilton. all shows start at 8 p.m.:

  • September 24 - Time For Three (TF3) - Americana, modern pop and classical sounds are in this unique performance with Charles Yang, Nicolas "Nick" Kendall and Ranaan Meyer. TF3 blends their instruments and voices in a memorable evening.
  • October 16 - Ruthie Foster - Singing in a church in little ol' Gause, Texas, started Ruthie on her way to her own musical styling, influenced by Aretha Franklin and Mavis Staples. Rolling Stone magazine called her "Pure magic" and Hamilton will benefit from that magic in October.
  • November 19 - Jon Cleary and the Absolute Monster Gentlemen - The Performing Arts Council has strong ties to New Orleans music, bringing in some of the best. Here comes Jon Cleary, born in Britain and loving jazz, in 1981 he made a beeline From England to the Maple Leaf Bar in New Orleans and now he has his own band. He'll be playing piano, surrounded by the Absolute Monster Gentlemen just before Thanksgiving.
  • January 29, 2022 - Ottmar Liebert and Luna Negra will finally make their trip to the Performing Arts Center stage just after the new year begins. He's been in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he creates his melodies.
  • April 23, 2022 - Orquesta Akokan - Putting together the styles of their home in Havana, Cuba, with New York sounds, the ensemble serves up some mambo styles with a Big Band influence. The mix is making people sit up and take notice.
  • May 13, 2022 - Aoife O'Donovan - A Grammy award-winning songwriter and musician, Aoife has been the lead singer and co-founder of the band Crooked Still, and has also had three solo albums. PBS listeners may have heard her on "Live from Here" and "A Prairie Home Companion."
  • The Box Office is open through the season on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Ticket sales are starting, with an August 17 Deadline for season subscribers to renew their seats for the 21-22 season. New season subscribers can do that August 19 to August 24.
