This Tasty Treat Won’t Cost More in Montana for 2024
Are you getting to the point where high prices are evening causing you to have second thoughts about your snacks and treats?
I know for a lot of us, the talk about inflation slowing down still isn't preventing the pain of prices, especially when you're trying to just feed your family while still paying more for things like houses, cars, and taxes.
But now, word comes that one of our favorite annual treats WON'T cost more in 2024 for Montana. And we have the girls to thank for that.
It's the return of Girl Scout cookies!
Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming (GSMW) will kick off their 2024 Girl Scout Cookie season in both states on February 2nd. This year, cookie prices won't increase, helping not only cookie fans, but the girls sell more products as they learn business skills like goal setting, people skills, and money management.
The theme for the annual cookie sale this year is "Unbox the Future", which "aims to remove social barriers that often keep girls boxed in."
All the favorites return
Other choices will be Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Trefoils, Adventurefuls, Lemonades, Toast-Yay! All the varieties will remain at $5 a box, and $6 for the gluten and allergen-free Caramel Chocolate Chip.
How to get your cookies
Girl Scouts will take pre-orders from February 2nd through the 18th, with cookies delivered in late March. If you don't know a Girl Scout, but want the cookies, you'll be able to buy cookies directly from the Girl Scout Cookie Finder, starting February 16th. You can also leave your contact info on the Girl Scout cookie website to be notified when sales start in your neighborhood.
Girls will be operating cookie booths from March 22nd through April 14th, continuing a tradition that's been going for 112 years.
