Montana Adds 261 New COVID-19 Cases, 43,778 Montanans are Fully Immunized
As of Thursday morning, Montana has confirmed 96,842 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana's COVID-19 case tracking map shows 261 new confirmed cases. There are currently 3,025 active cases in the state.
1,886 cases were reported last week and 2,399 cases were reported the week before. 1,062 cases have been reported in the past four days.
According to the Montana Department of Health and Human Services, 157,618 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered and 43,778 Montanans are fully immunized. In Missoula, 16,133 doses have been administered and 4,419 people are fully immunized.
Missoula County has had a total of 7,902 confirmed cases and 178 cases are currently active. You can find the current numbers from the Missoula City-County Health Department right here.
According to state statistics, 92,497 Montana residents have recovered from COVID-19 and 108 people are currently hospitalized.
The number of tests increased by 6,555 over the previous 24-hour reporting period, for a new cumulative state-wide total of 1,007,629.
The state COVID-19 related death toll remained at1,320 on Thursday, according to state health officials.
