Missoula’s Tap Club Going Through Changes Less Then 2 Years After Opening
Last week, a few rumors surfaced on social media that Missoula's Tap Club was sold to Town Pump.
I reached out last week to the Tap Club office, but didn't connect with anyone on multiple occasions.
But Tap Club confirmed today on its social media page that the rumors are true.
Big changes, same gratitude. Tap Club has been purchased by Town Pump, a respected Montana company. Our last day as Tap Club will be Saturday, May 10, and we're thankful for every memory made along the way. - Tap Club's Instagram
Tap Club opened in October of 2023, according to an article from KPAX, making it less than 2 years in operation before the latest sale.
Tap Club was originally started by the same ownership team of Montana Club and Hoagieville.

Town Pump already operates one of its gas stations next door at the corner of Broadway and Mullan.
It's unclear what the new ownership will lead to. Will there be a rebranding? Will there be a completely new business installed? Will it be an extension of the Town Pump next door?
All there was from the Instagram post was, "It's not goodbye--it's the start of what's next. Cheers to the future🍻!"
