Who Will End Up In This Missoula Building?
When the Subway on S Reserve St closed down in March of 2022, Missoulians (and a handful of insatiably voracious radio peeps) were left without one of our favorite lunchtime spots. We were so used to the convenience of footlongs, breakfast paninis and hordes of green and yellow napkins which graced our break rooms and studios.
But this prime location on Missoula's busiest road has remained vacant for five months, leaving the closest lunch and dinner options in the immediate area to Taco Johns, Five on Black, and the deli counters of Rosauers and Winco. The building in question is located right in the middle of this Maps screenshot:
We see no reason to believe that the building, which needs very little in the way of TLC, shouldn't be a location that businesses would do battle over who got to set up shop there. Let's revisit this location and point out some of its features that would make it perfect for someone else to start raking in the revenue.
Plenty Of Parking
We counted 13 total parking spots, including one already earmarked for ADA visitors. The drive thru lane extends through the lot and wraps around the back.
Drive Thru
Add paint & singage, this baby is good to go
You know who needs drive thrus? Hungry people, obviously. But think of all the other business types that could make good use of a drive thru:
- liquor stores
- pharmacies
- banks
- dispensaries
- wedding services (hey, it works in Vegas)
- coffee shops
Interior Is Almost Ready For Anybody
We weren't able to get specific dimensions (locked doors keep out inquisitive vagabonds as well as members of the press) but the interior looks structurally sound.
It Comes With A Great Sign To Display Your Brand
Anyone making the turn to head north on Reserve is going to notice your advertising real estate, unless their eyes are focused on a tiny screen and not the road...
