There’s an important meeting coming up tomorrow night at Sentinel High School. The Postal Service is considering closing a section of the Main Post Office at 1100 W Kent. It’s called the Mail Processing Center. It’s the part of the system where all your mail goes, gets sorted as to destination and is grouped for shipment. USPS is proposing to move this operation to Spokane. Theoretically, a letter mailed here in Missoula to any 598 zip code will go to Spokane be processed and sent back to Missoula for delivery.
