Missoula Humane Society’s Pumpkin & Papaya Purrfect Pair for TMHT
We were kind of expecting black cats on Halloween, but these two irresistible sisters furnished plenty of furry frivolity for us.
It was another Take Me Home Tuesday (TMHT) in the radio station studios, sponsored by our animal-loving friends at Paul's Pancake Parlor in Missoula. Allison from the Humane Society of Western Montana introduced us to Pumpkin and Papaya. These gorgeous four-month-old ginger tabby sisters are among the many kittens waiting for their forever homes.
Yep, it is kitten season at the shelter. As the Humane Society likes to say, "two kittens are half the work of one," as they comfort and nurture each other as loving companions.
TWO-FER (OR TWO-FUR?) PRICING
The Humane Society of Western Montana always offers two-for-one pricing on kittens. If you adopt one at the regular adoption fees, a second one is included at no extra charge. The shelter currently has kittens of all ages, along with a number of adult cats who would also make wonderful pets.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Imagine Nation Brewing Company will be hosting a Pint Night on Friday, November 10, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., with proceeds benefiting the shelter.
The following day, Saturday, November 11, there will be another adoption event at Residence Inn Missoula Downtown. That starts at 11:00 a.m., and the Humane Society never puts an end-time on the adoption events, as they never know when all the puppies and kittens they bring might all be adopted. Shop early for best selection, maybe?
The Humane Society of Western Montana is located at 5930 Highway 93 South, Missoula. Hours are 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays. Find out more about HSWM here.
Our thanks to Pumpkin and Papaya for stopping by and here's wishing them and all the animals waiting to be adopted wonderful forever homes soon.
