Enchanted Village and Other Missoula Area Christmas Fun Saturday
'Tis that magical Christmas season featuring worthwhile events only held at this time of year.
If you're looking for a fun way to spend some family-friendly time this Saturday, December 14, in Missoula and the surrounding area, and in some cases support local non-profit groups, check out our handy-dandy holiday guide for unique gifts and activities. We got at least a few of them in here for you.
THE ENCHANTED CHRISTMAS VILLAGE
Join in the festive fun, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, at the Enchanted Christmas Village, wonderful for all ages. There will be pony and train rides, visits with Santa and photo ops, scavenger hunt prizes, live Christmas caroling, story time, letters to the North Pole, and a crackling fire.
The Enchanted Christmas Village is also known as the 9 Mile Schoolhouse, 18815 Remount Road in Huson. You can also tour the historic schoolhouse grounds.
There is a $12 admission fee for the Enchanted Christmas Village, payable at the entry. Cookie Decoration Kits, Homemade Soup Lunch, and Christmas Cocktails will also be available for purchase.
LOLO PTSA CRAFT SHOW
The Lolo PTSA is holding their craft show on Saturday, December 14, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, at the Lolo School. Many vendors offering candy, wreaths, home decor, jewelry, yard art, baked goods, crocheted items and more.
As an added event, the school's Closeup Students (8th graders) going to Washington DC will selling items and raffle tickets to help with the trip's expenses.
SENTINEL HIGH SCHOOL CHEER RUMMAGE SALE
The Spartan cheer team is raising money to go Nationals. Shop for tools, clothing, furniture, decor, office supplies, toys and more. A number of the items for sale are so new, they still have price tags on them!
The sale is at the school's auxiliary gym from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm Saturday.
WE CAN'T FORGET CRAFTY PANTS!
Yes, Saturday also brings us the Crafty Pants Craft Fair, a delightful annual event, featuring lots of local vendors. Homemade and handmade goods! Fun crafts and businesses who look forward to seeing you Saturday at the American Legion Hall, 825 Ronan Street in Missoula. Hours are 9:00 am - 3:00.
Well, we hope we struck a, "Hey that one sounds fun" chord in the key of "C," as in Christmas on one or more of these!
