Just yesterday, Missoula closed down all live theaters in town, so it was only a matter of time before we heard an announcement like this: Missoula Community Theater has decided to postpone their production of Matilda: The Musicalwhich was scheduled for April 23rd through May 10th.

The new dates are to be determined, but they're trying to work it into their upcoming fall season. This isn't the first live event cancellation we've had over the last few weeks thanks to Coronavirus, and it likely won't be the last, but it's still a bummer to see.

If you had tickets, you can hold onto them and you'll be able to reschedule for one of the new dates. You could also request a refund or, in lieu of a refund, donate that money directly to the Missoula Community Theater, which will likely need to see some support during this time.
