Man Shot in Parking Lot of Jason Aldean Show
Only a week after the tragic shooting at the midnight screening of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ in Aurora, Colo., another incident of gunfire has taken place at an entertainment event. A man was shot in the parking lot of the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion in Raleigh, N.C. on Friday night (July 27) as concertgoers were exiting Jason Aldean‘s show.
Details are incredibly scarce right now, but according to local news outlet WRAL, the authorities said that most of the show’s attendees were unaware of the shooting, nor were they in danger at the time the incident took place.
Officers surrounded a few cars exiting the parking lot, and the victim was transported to the hospital via ambulance.
As of press time, the cops are still interviewing witnesses about the shooting. Information about the shooter and motive were not yet released. The name and the condition of the victim have not been revealed, either.
Aldean has not yet commented on the incident via Twitter or otherwise.
Taste of Country sends our best out to the victim.
