This crazy major dump of October snow over the weekend probably has a lot of you skiers all giddy and ready to go.

If you haven't already, take a good look at your ski gear and other outdoor equipment. Do you have outdoor gear you want to sell? Are your kids outgrowing their gear?

With mask and social distancing requirements, Lost Trail Powder Mountain Ski Patrol’s 49th Annual Ski/Snowboard/Outdoor Gear Swap is still on the calendar as usual,  November 13th & 14th at the Bitterroot College, 103 South 9th Street in Hamilton.

You can consign clean, gently used ski and snowboard equipment, as well as all other manner of outdoor sports gear on Friday, November 12th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM and come back Saturday from 9:30AM – 1:00PM and shop the amazing bargains you will find at the swap. Typically you will find gear for all ages – kids, young adults, adults – with great deals for you.

Early bird shoppers out there? You can make a $20 donation to Lost Trail Ski Patrol and shop one hour before the doors open to the public on Saturday (8:30-9:30 AM).

Lost Trail Ski Patrol takes 20% of each sale to fund their lifesaving efforts. You keep the rest. Come support Lost Trail Ski Patrol so they can keep supporting you.

Lost Trail wanted us to make sure we thanked on their behalf, the Ravalli County Public Health Department and the Rapp Family Foundation for providing a limited number of free children’s helmets that will be available at the swap meet Saturday. For more information on the event, you can visit the Lost Trail home page or check out their event page on Facebook: Ski Swap – Lost Trail Ski Patrol.
