Little Girl Goes Where Firefighters Can’t to Save Kitten

Here's a story where it pays to be small and no doubt at least a wee bit brave. And it helps to love kitties, too!Associated Press reported a heartwarming story from Lancaster PA.

Firefighters were just too big to rescue a kitten from a storm drain. But not little 6-year-old Janeysha Cruz! She and her friends saw the kitten trapped in the drain. Janeysha's mom called 9-1-1, but responders couldn't fit. So, with her mom's permission, firefighters lowered her into the drain and she was able to coax the little kitty into her arms.
